Cake Card FAQs

Pick your card design, write your message (up to 60 words), choose two flavours from our four cake slices, and we'll bake fresh and post it. The whole process takes about 2 minutes at catarinadesserts.com.au.

Yes. You can add multiple Cake Cards to your cart with different messages, flavours, and recipient addresses for each. We also offer bulk orders for corporate gifting, weddings, and team thank-yous — email hello@catarinadesserts.com.au.

Not currently. Cake Cards are posted via Australia Post Express and take 1-3 business days. Order before 2pm AEST for same-day dispatch.

1-3 business days via Australia Post Express, anywhere in Australia. Most metro areas arrive in 1-2 days. Rural and remote areas may take 3+ days.

Yes. We deliver to PO boxes across Australia via Australia Post Express.

Not currently. We deliver within Australia only. Cake slices are perishable and Australia Post international services vary by destination.

We require a signature upon delivery to ensure your fresh cake slices are received safely. If no one is home, Australia Post will leave a card and take the parcel to the nearest post office for collection.

Delivery is calculated at checkout based on Australia Post Express rates and destination. The base Cake Card starts at A$29.90 + delivery.

Yes. Express Post covers most Australian addresses, including rural and remote. Some very remote locations may take longer.

Four flavours: Chocolate Fudge Slice (chocolate mud cake with chocolate filling), Chocolate Vanilla Slice (chocolate mud cake with vanilla filling), Vanilla Peanut Crunch Slice (vanilla sponge with peanut crunch filling), and Vanilla Strawberry Slice (vanilla sponge with strawberry filling).

Each slice is generously portioned (160g for Chocolate Fudge and Chocolate Vanilla; 130g for Vanilla Peanut Crunch and Vanilla Strawberry). Two slices per Cake Card.

Yes. Pick any two from the four flavours. You can mix or double up.

Cake slices are baked fresh and best enjoyed within 5-7 days of arrival. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.

All slices contain gluten, egg, milk, and soy. Chocolate Fudge and Chocolate Vanilla may contain traces of peanuts. Vanilla Peanut Crunch contains peanuts. Full ingredient lists are available on each product page.

Yes. We bake to order in small batches using premium Australian ingredients.

Currently no — all cakes contain dairy, egg, and gluten. We're working on options for dietary restrictions. Join our email list for updates.

Up to 60 words. We recommend keeping it short and personal.

Yes. We print your message exactly as you submit it. Please check names, spelling, and punctuation before sending.

We recommend text-only for the cleanest look, but simple punctuation (hearts, smileys in text form: <3, :) ) is fine.

We print exactly as written. If you notice a typo before the Cake Card is dispatched, email us immediately at hello@catarinadesserts.com.au and we'll do our best to fix it. Once dispatched, we can't make changes.

Not currently — messages are text only, printed on the inside of the card.

Cake Cards are A5-sized (148 × 210 mm) and packed in protective, premium packaging.

Not currently — but we have an extensive library covering most occasions. If you can't find what you want, email us at hello@catarinadesserts.com.au and we'll do our best.

Standard Cake Cards are text-only inside. Custom photo cards are not available at this stage.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Afterpay.

Yes — if your Cake Card arrives damaged or with a printing error, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and we'll replace it or refund you. We don't refund for change-of-mind once a Cake Card is dispatched.

Email hello@catarinadesserts.com.au within 48 hours with a photo. We'll send a replacement at no charge.

Yes — you can cancel any unshipped order. Once the Cake Card is dispatched, we can't cancel it.
